"I rarely write a review but in this instance felt I must share that Dr Soumen can truly help both with acute and chronic injuries. I’d damaged my shoulder and the usual advice of rest, ice etc was not helping with my recovery. Not only was the injury preventing me from taking part in active sport but I couldn’t easily sleep through the discomfort. A single session with Dr Soumen dramatically reduced my discomfort and his advice on a simple technique to reduce discomfort whilst sleeping enabled me to have the first restful sleep in over eight weeks! I cannot recommend Dr Soumen highly enough."
Rick Hurst.
“ I can’t recommend Soumen enough, he is incredibly skilled and I simply wouldn’t go to anyone else now having found him. There are a number of things that set him apart including his knowledge, ability to put you at ease and professionalism.”
Elizabeth Mackintosh

Mild discomfort can be a warning that something needs to change. Manual treatment and correct advice can prevent further injury and pain developing.
In medical terms 'Acute' refers to quick onset/short duration. Sometimes discomfort and pain in joints, muscles and tendons can come on quickly 'out of the blue' or following an injury. Osteopathic care can help with many types of acute pain including neck, back, shoulder, hip or knee pains. In addition some headaches and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) pain can be relieved.
Longer term or 'Chronic' (more than 3 months) symptoms can be relieved with manual treatment. Again problems which could be improved with osteopathic treatment are broad and include back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, hip and knee pain.
